Cookie policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember something between visits. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps data on your device until it is deleted, without sending it anywhere by itself.

How this site uses them

This site sets no cookies of its own. The only thing it writes is a single local storage entry, “nf-consent”, which records your choice in the consent banner.

The banner follows Google Consent Mode v2: nothing from the optional categories loads until you accept it. If you do nothing, or reject, no analytics or marketing tools run at all.

Necessary

This category cannot be switched off, because it is what remembers your decision.

Entry: nf-consent — Type: local storage, set by this site. Purpose: storing your consent choice. Duration: stays on your device until you delete it.

Analytics (optional, off by default)

If you accept this category, Google Analytics 4 is loaded to produce aggregate statistics about how the site is used — pages visited, rough origin, device type. We see trends, not individuals.

Cookies: _ga and _ga_* — Provider: Google. Purpose: distinguishing visitors for aggregate usage statistics. Duration: about 13 months.

Marketing (optional, off by default)

If you accept this category, Google Ads cookies may be set to measure conversions from our ads and, where applicable, to show relevant ads (remarketing).

Cookies: Google Ads conversion and remarketing cookies — Provider: Google. Purpose: measuring ad performance and remarketing. Duration: varies by cookie, as documented by Google.

Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, which removes the nf-consent entry and shows the banner again.

If you reject

Nothing breaks. The site works fully without any optional cookies — rejecting them only means we collect no statistics and set no advertising cookies.
