Adventure tourism
Aventura en el Sella
Context
Aventura en el Sella has run canoe descents of the Sella river from Arriondas since 1998. Qualified guides, canoe, transfer and parking in a single price, and a clear philosophy: no rush, no fine print. A quarter century on the river deserved better than a generic adventure-tourism website.
The sector is a war of cloned offers. Every company promises the same thing over the same stock photos. Standing out is not about shouting louder: it is about telling it better.
The call
We turned the honesty of the business into the design’s central argument. One price, everything included, pets ride free: said big, in poster-size type, with the river as the only visual protagonist.
And one editorial decision: the site does not sell an activity, it narrates a full day. From check-in at Arriondas to the last stop, step by step, so that booking becomes the natural consequence of a day already lived in your head.
Execution
New identity, new website: art direction, a brand system, an editorial architecture with route guides and a map of the descent, and a flow that books the trip in a couple of minutes from a phone, with call and WhatsApp always in sight.
The technical frame goes straight to the point: light pages, images sized per screen, technical SEO and structured data for the searches around the Sella descent. Nothing decorative slows the first render.
Results
Green Core Web Vitals and a page that settles the key questions — price, what is included, how long it takes — in the first screenful. Fewer calls to clear up doubts, more bookings that arrive already decided.
The site is live at aventuraenelsella.es. The river has been doing the rest for 25 years.
